Reflections

Experience: Throughout the whole journey for semester 2, with all the tasks I've done, I think the hardest task was task 2 - creating a key artwork. This one was tough as at first I've no idea on how to start and what to create like I was basically lost. However, I get to realized what I am and what I want to reflect myself as so I portrait it into my key artwork. I'm satisfied with my work. To be honest, I think this semester efforts paid are way much more than previous one. The tasks might seems difficult and torturing (well it is basically) but luckily we had the experience gained, lectures and tutorials learnt from last semester, everyone found their way to simplify the process and work through the journey. Overall, this semester Advanced Typography's tasks are fun as our creativity is no longer being limited like pas semester.

Observation: In semester 2's Advanced Typography tasks, I've get to observe myself more and express my own creativity more. With no limitations of typefaces and tasks given needed to be created all by ourself, I found that we get the opportunity to express our own designs in anyway and from task 2, we get to deeply observe and understand ourself in able to create something related to self. In this module, I also found that the elegant form of each typefaces and logos.

Findings: With all the tasks given, I've learn on how to express myself in typography. I've learnt on how to design a better cover with using typographic system. I also learnt to upgrade my own skills in constructing or designing typography into another level with viewing and surveying at another's work. You learnt what is good in others and look what is bad at yours, then you'll know what you will need to be improved.
