Task 1: Project Proposal
We are required to do a proposal slides for the mobile application project as part of this project 1. Mr. Shamsul must give preliminary clearance before we can start redesigning an app that we believe lacks adequate user experience or interface design.
We, as students, are required to conduct polls, interviews, market analyses, and research on the chosen subject. Additionally, the paper needs to outline the main functions of the company's mobile app and show how the app works. The document will decide whether or not the concept for the mobile application is sound enough to move on to the following step of development. This task is an iterative process, therefore students are free to obtain input from their peers and the module coordinator during the assignment term to further develop their proposal.
Since our given topic for the project of this module is lifestyle, so I've been thinking to work with the entertainment scope and then maybe personal life tracker apps will do too. I used a Miro-board to brainstorm and write down three distinct application ideas early on in the process. This exercise was designed to examine several options and assess how likely they were to materialise. I then started to refine my ideas and make the proposal presentations.

Reflection
As a UI/UX designer, developing the concept proposal for the Period Tracker app makeover has been a fun and rewarding experience. It enabled me to examine the app's current condition and pinpoint its advantages and disadvantages. As this app is something me as a female will be using frequently which it's a very lifestyle app so I was really excited to dig deep down on its UI and UX to understand better the principles of a good app, what should have and what should have not. My redesign strategy has been greatly influenced by the user research and feedback I've gotten on what users really want and need from the app. The proposal's main goal was to improve the user experience by addressing major pain points. I was especially interested in enhancing the menu navigation so that users could quickly find their wanted features or functions. I also wanted to improve the security of the apps, so that users could feel safe and protected when they input their personal and privacy datas into the app as some might feel very insecure to input sensitive datas and they feel shy to.
I became even more motivated to build an aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly app that would make a positive impression on consumers as I emphasised the influence of mobile app design on user experience. It is inspirational and fulfilling to have the chance to improve an app that I've been using frequently in my life and get to understand the contents inside also to refine it into a better app that I wanted. I can't wait to get started on the remainder of the redesign process.
The value of research-driven design and incremental enhancements based on user feedback has been reinforced by this experience. I am convinced that my efforts will produce a remarkable software that improves consumers' entire using experiences. To sum up, this proposal is the start of a meaningful design journey, and I'm excited to make an app that will delight and satisfy consumers while capturing the objective of the app's existancy.
