FINAL REFLECTION

Throughout the whole progress of this module, I've went through a lot. Remember in the very beginning, everything for me was kinda tough plus this module was the first module of the week so it's also my first task too be assigned for semester 1. With not knowing on how to manipulate using Adobe softwares until now, I think I managed to use the softwares quite well but still there're still a lot of spaces to be improved as I haven't dig deeper but I'm sure I'll.

In this module, we were able to explore our ideas in a very wide area as there're nothing to be limited. We can explore a lot of designs and ideas as long as it stick with the principle then that's fine. I think it's great for us to explore more as with limitations, we will never know how far we can think of and design stuffs that we probably never tried before. Exploring helps us to increase our creativities. Designers are meant to have a lot of creativities in able to create designs.

Thinking back, I guess Project 1 - Self Portrait is the toughest task to be done. As I'm not really sure of who I view myself as and how would I want to portrait myself or how people see me from my portrait. Next then, is Project 2, sense of place. Same as I don't know how to express the place I want to express in my own way. Drawing a single place out is not sufficient for me to present the place in my own feelings and thoughts. By then, these tasks provide us to explore a lot and thinks from each perspectives in able to create a work of our idea and meaning.

I actually enjoyed this module really much as ideas aren't be limited, we can create anything we want. With all the design principles learnt throughout this module, now I know how to apply them in my artwork to create a better visual in each of them. I also learn on how to manage a blog in good position and layouts. I actually enjoy writing a blog and design the layouts hehe. Looking back all the works I've done is super satisfied. I find that applying design principles in our art isn't as hard as I think as long as we have enough understanding of the principles.

With all of the ups and downs went through, struggling with coming out with an idea and layouts till done processing a final artwork in my expectations, I've get a lot of takeaways and observed a lot too. I can say I improved a lot in aspects of designing, exploring and technic manipulations but still there're a lot of space for me to explore further and dive deeper. As I'm still not familiar with a lot of tools in the softwares and I think that there're still a lot of idea haven't being rigged out from my inner brain. Looking forward to show them all out~
